Antique Victorian 14K Gold .25CT TW Tourmaline Rose Cut Diamond Ring - Size 4.75

Dating to the late 1890s or so, may I offer this sweetheart - promise or engagement ring composed of 14K Yellow Gold (tested, not marked). The top design features 2 pinkish red faceted oval stones that test in the tourmaline area (about 10 points each); at the center are 2 rose cut diamonds (about 2 points each) - total gemstone weight would be about .25CT TW. Design on top measures 1/2" north.south x 3/16". Weight of the ring is 1.4 grams. Condition is very fine with no problems I can spot. A very pleasing design that looks so pretty on the hand!
