Staffordshire Pink Lusterware Pitcher Circa 1820 – 1840 - image 1 of 10

This is a wonderful antique pitcher recently acquired from a Pennsylvania estate. The sides are decorated with hand-painted pink and red flowers on a green vine. As you can see in the photographs the edges of the pitcher have a pink lusterware border. The teapot is in very good condition and is not cracked or chipped. There is a small split at the top of the handle from the original firing when the pitcher was made. There is some wear of the pink luster border around the rim from use. The pitcher is 6 inches from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle. The height is about 4 1/4 inches at the handle and the width is 3 inches. This pitcher would be suitable for sauces on your holiday table setting. Enjoy!
