This is a great old box that held spools of thread for sewing. This box is empty. A seamstress would keep the empty box to store sewing material but there was also another use. Notice the top and bottom edge below the JP Coats trademark.
There is a six-inch stand measure used in the United States (notice the spelling on the box as U. States).

The box is in good used vintage condition. There is a slight separation of the paper in the upper left corner as shown in the photographs. Take a moment and review the photographs, remember you can zoom in to take a closer look.

The box is 8 by 3 ¼ inches and is 1 3/8 inches deep. A great box is nice graphics. Enjoy!
