A late Victorian English brass inkstand/inkwell set on a wooden base with crystal inkwell. The hinged lid of the inkwell is in the form of a jockey’s cap. Set behind the inkwell is a pen rest in the form of a horseshoe. The pen rest will hold up to four pens. Finely cast with solid weight, this is a collector’s piece for equestrians or horse racing enthusiasts.

Condition Report; Overall very good. No chips or cracks noted. The bottom of the inkstand shows normal surface wear in accordance with age and use.
