This is a true English One Schilling piece that has been split and made into a locket. I think two coins were used. It has a reeded edge and sharp details. The locket is 0.94" in diameter and weighs 8 grams. It has a secure snap and is in excellent estate condition.
The schilling is King George on the front and the Scottish crest on the back hallmarked for 1948. It is copper and nickle with a gold gilt wash. So stylish and unique. Ideal for either gender.
