Les Bouteilles de Savon, Paris Copperplate Engravings Cherub Children

A charming pair of Antique French Engravings. The prints depict cherub, children playing and are from the series "Les jeux et plaisirs de l'enfance" by Bouzonnet-Stella Claudine (1636-1697) which were taken from a drawing by Jacques Stella.

I rarely handle such antique prints so please view the photos, these are no doubt quite early but I cannot tell the exact age. The ink is more brown in tone that the typical black, closer to the images of the single pieces than the pairs above. Each Engraving is in a wood frame complete with glass and measures 8 3/4" wide x 7 1/8", just the impression or printed sight size is 5 1/2" x 4 5/8". Both prints are in good condition. There is foxing and toning to the paper and lighter areas around the perimeter edges of both. The frames have wear.

The French Prints would be lovely in an antique Art collection. Both pieces are being offered for one price.
