Prince Francis Windisch-Graetz, Royal Horse Guards Painting

A Original watercolor/gouache painting by listed artist Prince Francis Windisch-Graetz (Austria 20TH Century). This is quite an elaborate scene and is titled "The Royal Horse Guards, (Household Calvary) F. J. N. Windisch-Graetz". Windisch-Graetz typically painted single horses, this is quite ambitious showing many soldiers on horseback. The art work is in wood frame complete with glass and also has the artist's monogram on the back. Overall dimensions are 21 1/2" x 9 1/2" high including the frame. The Painting is in good overall condition. There are a few spots of foxing on the paper and smudges to the paint on the left side, it includes one soldier and a flag. The Painting would be great in a Military or Equestrian decor.
