Antique 19th Century Nailsea Double Blown Glass Flask

A very nice Antique (circa 1800s) Blown Glass Nailsea Flask. The Flask is hand blown and has a great design with white glass swirled within the clear. This is a double flask which would have used corks. Overall dimensions are 9" long x 3 1/2" wide x 2" deep. The Nailsea Flask is in very good overall condition. It has some small bits of frit embedded in the glass which is common to early glass kilns. The inside top of one flask has a long pontil mark from when it was made, see photos. The Flask is a lay down style and has some scratches on the glass from resting on a table top. The Nailsea Flask would be perfect in an antique bottole collection, these early flasks are very difficult to find.
