Impressionistic Painting, Cottage Landscape Listed Artist Frederick James Boston

A lovely Antique Impressionistic Painting by Listed Artist, Frederick James Boston (American, New York/ Connecticut), 1855- 1932). The painting has soft pastel colors and looks like a gouache on paper, it is signed on the lower left F.J. Boston. It depicts two cottages in a landscape and is in the original wood frame complete with glass. The colors are warmer and slightly more brighter in person, not cool tones. Overall dimensions are 20 1 1/2" wide x 17" including the frame. The Impressionistic Painting is in very good overall condition, the colors are beautiful. The frame has ear to the finish and the back dust cover has moisture marks. This would make a fine addition to any antique decor, it is lovely.
