The color of this pretty art glass perfume bottle is forest green, and in a strong light almost an emerald green; the glass is quite pretty. The bottle is for perfume, cologne or scent.
The maker is unknown. The region is probably the United Kingdom, or perhaps Germany or near Germany. The date falls somewhere mid-20th century.
The bottle is 4 ¾” high to the top of the stopper and 5 ½” wide at the belly.
The glass is treated with acid for a satin finish and to outline the flowers on the front and back. The flowers have etched or incised lines to delineate the patterns. The flowers may be water lilies.
The stopper is original to the bottle.
The bottom is flat with a small indentation where the pontil rod broke off. The bottom shows some slight scratching and age wear.
There are no nicks, chips or cracks.
