This is a Northwood blue glass vase that is a spooner. The color verges on turquoise in some lights. The date is around 1900.
The spooner is 7 ¼” high and 3 3/8” wide at the foot. The mouth is 5 ¼” by 5 ½”.
The glass is ribbed, with thinner ribs spaced between wider ribs, and the ribs or ridges can be felt with the fingers. The mouth is irregular with different heights and different crimps. The glass is opalescent at the mouth.
A mold line can be seen at the base.
There are no chips, nicks or cracks. This is a little bit of estate discoloration inside the vase. The bottom is slightly indented and ridged.
There are light glares in the photos.
