A large blue and white serving bowl in the Chinese rice grain pattern. The little rice shapes illuminate when held against any bright light as they are designed to allow the light to shine through the porcelain. Examples pictured above. My research showed that so far there are no fake productions for this rice grain pattern. Blue and white, one of the Jingdezhen four great porcelains.

The art focuses on the powerful five toed Imperial dragon at center. Many bats surrounding it that generally represent blessings and good fortune. Full over glazing.

Size:
8.5 inches wide. 3-1/2inches deep.

Condition:
Excellent.

Maker:
This bowl has no back stamp. The blue and white rice grain pattern porcelains are made in the porcelain factory capitol area of Jingdezhen, Jiangxi, China.
