Dated January 1919, this real photo post card is of a soldier, taken just before he leaves for camp. Printed in tones of sepia, appropriate to the time period, this card has the soldier's handwriting on the reverse:
Dear Mother,
I'm leaving tomorrow for Camp Taylor.
I can't quite make out the name of the soldier. I've increased the contrast of the handwriting side so you can see what was written.
This post card is in good condition, with a sharp, strong image. It has a small, minor corner bend on the lower right. It's original two cent stamp is still intact.
Shipping and insurance are included on this item within the continental United States.
