Large Rectangular Blue Feather Edge Platter 1800's - image 1 of 13

This is an early blue feather edge rectangular Leeds style earthenware platter. It has hand painted blue around the edge frequently referred to as feather edge. It is a deep dark blue. The edge has a raised embossed design. It is unsigned and unmarked. The platter dates to around the early 1800's.

It measures approximately 14 ½" in length and 11 1/4" wide.

It is in very nice antique condition. It has light scratches and crazing consistent with its age.
