Believe it or not, these are rare earrings.

They're not just plastic...they're carved Lucite. The red apple and green leaf topping are two-pieces bound together with enameled green cord. The apple backs are painted white.

The screw backs are not just metal...they're sterling silver. That was unusual for a fruity costume jewelry piece.

The earrings measure 1 by 1 1/2 inches. The screw backs work smoothly. The silver has not been polished...we leave the vintage patina as found.

Earrings are in excellent vintage condition. Circa 1940.
