Antique Bohemian Acid Cut Back Cameo Glass Vase with Grisaille Enamel - image 1 of 5

Masterful! This acid cut-back cameo glass vase has an ice-chip ground and acid cut back flowers with blue enamel tipped petals picked out in gold enamel.

The scroll form center cartouche is decorated en grisaille with a bucolic waterway scene. Its attractive bulbous form has a flaring neck that terminates with a square rim decorated with a wide gold enamel band.

It is not signed, but this sophisticated art glass vase appears similar to other works by the Bohemian maker Harrach, and we believe it dates to about 1900.

Measures approximately 10 inches tallest x 5.75 inches widest. Polished pontil. Good condition with some wear to gold enameling at rim, and the black enameling around the tree area. Weighs approximately 2.5 pounds BEFORE packing. Ship standard size 12x12x18.
