A beautiful opalescent rose bowl in the Spanish Lace or Brocade pattern. This rose bowl is in excellent condition with no issues whatsoever. This pattern was originally made by Northwood Glass and later by Fenton Art Glass. We do not know of a way to determine which company made this one, but we're attributing it to Fenton. Either way, it's a lovely piece.

The bowl measures 4 3/4" tall and approximately 5" in diameter.

The rose bowl was the original air freshener. Filled with rose or other fragrant flower petals, they were used to disguise unpleasant odors in privies and other areas of the home. Today, they're beautiful on their own or filled with small bouquets.
