Beautiful Early American Pattern or Pressed Glass (EAPG) pitcher in the "Ivy in Snow" pattern. Ivy in Snow, also known as Forest Ware, was manufactured in 1898 by the Co-Operative Flint Glass Company of Beaver Falls, PA. This pitcher stands 9 1/2" tall and has a wonderful elongated helmet shape., stippled background (snow), and clear ivy leaves. It holds approximately 1 qt. It's in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few light scratches from over a century of use and one 1/4" scratch under the handle (not a crack, and we believe part of manufacture) as you can see in the photos. This is a beautiful old piece, and the perfect tea or water pitcher.
This pitcher weighs 2 3/4 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail, insurance included.
