This beautiful, round, Early American Pattern Glass bowl in the green Paneled Dogwood pattern with gold trim was produced circa 1915 by the United States Glass Company. Their original name for the pattern was number 15161. The bowl features large dogwood flowers and leaves winding around the bowls atop a paneled design. The scalloped rim is embellished with scrolls and there's a starburst radiating out from the base.
This piece measures 8 3/4" in diameter and 3 5/8" in height. The bright green color is remeniscent of spring. It would make a cheerful accent to any room, especially if filled with fruit.
In excellent condition it has no chips, nicks or cracks other than a small nick on the base ring (shown). There is a fair amount of wear to the gold trim due to age. There are a number of straw marks around the bowl which were a natural part of the production process in this era.
This cheerful, spring like, green floral bowl would make a lovely addition to any home or collection.
