As Found, remnant of early beaded collar. Its structure and content leads us to believe this is late 1800-1920's. It is a swag of black and gold seed beads in a scrolled pattern. It most likely decorated the bodice of a dress as a decoration sewn directly to the collar area. At the front resides a 5" beaded fringe. Oval black beads are interspersed. This can be used for other projects or in totality. Found in the violet candy box as shown. Note condition report below
Size: 8 1/2" at widest including 5" fringe; 20" long end to end. Box is 10 x 3 x 1 1/2
Condition: NOTE- this is fragile. It is shedding beads in places (see beads in bottom of box); Box corners are torn, top is in good vintage shape, it closes well once top is applied
