Pair of SOLID Mahogany Nightstands, by Georgetown Galleries, in West Virginia.., started in 1946.. This company produced incredible cherry and mahogany bedroom furniture, dining room furniture for a high end clientele. ,Georgetown mostly used fine Honduran mahogany, one of the strongest and most beautiful lumber products available at the time. Competitors with inferior raw materials and less demanding designs caused then to file bankruptcy in 1963.

, It would cost a fortune to produce what Georgetown Galleries made back in the 1950’s today.

These nightstands are offered in "as found" condition, they are quite structurally sound, there are scratches primarily on edges and bottom shelf, refer to photos. the drawers have dovetailed construction... They would be outstanding with a new finish, be it paint or varnish...
