A most attractive cranberry colored spatter rose bowl shape most likely produced by 1920 at the very latest. This style of glass with a clear colored hue would have a “spattering“ of a white opalescent material covering the item often with additional silver mica fleck to enhance the appeal. This style was popular during the Victorian era into the early 20th century. A number of manufacturing firms produced this type of glass in several different countries. Often unmarked, these rose bowls are difficult to determine place and company of origin. This attractive piece stands 4 1/2” tall and measures 5 1/2” across the middle. After a thorough examination, no damages or repairs noted. The inside is clean showing no residue or staining from use. I will mention and as pictured a pontil on the bottom which is slightly rough to the feel. A super item, great for the holiday season! I have included the number of pictures for your viewing.
