From PHYTOGRAPHIE MEDICALE by botanist Joseph Roques (1772-1850). First published 1821-25, it described medicinal, poisonous, and narcotic plants including mushrooms, poppies, and cannabis, as well as their remedies. Hocquart drew and engraved the plates which were then printed and finished by hand. Zoom into photos to appreciate in detail. Nicely matted and framed, ready to display. In very good condition with light foxing, toning and minor imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
