Vintage cast iron T-bar clothing display rack from old general store. This is one of several store fixtures acquired at an estate sale in Gatlinburg, TN believed to have been used in Ogle's General Store. The store served the remote mountain community at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains through several generations from 1850 through the mid 1970s when the store was torn down to make way for what is now Mountain Mall. It would make a beautiful coat rack with vintage wooden hangers in your entry foyer or mud room.
