The upper portion of this antique silver tobacco box is encompassed with bright cut engraved leaf decoration, accented with a pin struck border.
This antique box retains the original flush hinged hallmarked cover with a plain thumbpiece to the anterior surface; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece. Please see images 8, 9 and 10 for reference.
This silver box opens to reveal a secondary cover, which allows access to the vesta holder.
The rounded anterior surface of this antique silver tobacco vesta box features an integrated serrated panel/match striker.
