This impressive paper knife if the finest example of its type you could hope to acquire and such large examples are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
Condition
This antique paper knife is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The cast decoration is all very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the reverse surface of the blade are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
