A lovely satin glass rose bowl which shades from a bright green at the top to light mint green at the base and white interior. Made by one of the early American glass houses, probably Mt. Washington, circa 1890. The hand-painted floral decoration was executed in the factory studio. The bowl has a ruffled top consisting of eight ruffles with the entire circumference of the bowl decorated with delicate leaves and sprigs of buds in a soft orange and yellow enamel. The bowl measures 5" in height and 5 1/2" across. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Great addition to your rose bowl or satin glass collection.
