This is an interesting 1926 'The Treasury Cookbook ' compiled by The Girl's Circle of the Women's Institute, Micksburg, Cobden, Ontario. "A good many husbands are utterly spoiled by mismanagement; some women keep them constantly in hot water; others let them freeze by their carelessness and indifference; some keep them in a stew of irritating ways and words; others roast them; some keep them in a pickle all their lives - it cannot be supposed that any husband will be tenderand good if treated in this way but they are delicious when properly heated." This 8 1/2" x 6" 94 page softcover cookbook is intact but only in poor to fair condition with a worn cover, soil, and foxing. Retro Kitchen :Shelf Decor: Historic Cooking.
This delightful 96 year-old cook book would make a 'much loved' gift for a nostalgic friend, aspiring foodie, or for your very special self. Thank you for your interest.
