The Ogilvie family began milling flour in Canada in 1801, soon after emigrating from Scotland. In 1902 the company was sold to a Canadian owned syndicate, at which time it was renamed Ogilvie Flour Mills Co. Ltd. Other cookbooks had been published by other milling companies to promote their flour but Ogilvie was the the first of the genre to be distributed nationally in multiple editions.
This authentic 114 year-old cook book would make a 'much loved' gift for a nostalgic friend, aspiring foodie, or for your very special self. Thank you for your interest.
