An interesting and extremely rare and fine antique Georgian (or earlier), probably European silver Snuff Box of oval form having two well carved Chinese 17th/18th century mother of pearl panels, one carved with a bird holding a crayfish, and the base with a Qilin /Kylin. The silver box base appears to be double skinned (see last image). A wonderful quality objet d'Art item.
