From the collection of the late Martha Radford, a long time designer for world renowned Georgetown Leather Design, design director of HOBO International, and creative director for Adam Alexis, revered for her unique, innovative style and ability to stay ahead of the curve in the fashion industry. Her influence continues to flourish today, as HOBO International recently celebrated its 30th anniversary paying tribute to her classic designs which have remained woven in the fabric of the brand’s legacy, attracting the attention of fashionistas worldwide from everyday women to celebrities. I am proud to introduce, for the first time ever, a few select pieces from her personal collection now available for your consideration.
Offering a serene Danish landscape, oil on canvas, circa 1818 signed with initials M.R. showcased in original sleek and sturdy gilt wooden frame of the period. Soothing cottage retreat on the water in earthy tones compliments various styles from rich to neutral color schemes. Artwork is in good condition with wear commensurate with age. A few minor tatters and tears observed along paths that could easily be repaired. As is, these “flaws” lend to the age and authenticity of the piece and add a sense of character without compromising the beauty of the landscape. Please examine photos carefully for details. Ready to hang upon arrival.
