The ornate fireplace essential with a date of 1722 at the top, features a typical French family “blason” (French for coat of arms), with a top crown embellished by fleur-de-Lys, a center crest with three hunting horns, and two branches of foliage and acorns wrapping up the crest. The piece is in excellent condition with a rich patinated black finish.
