The Antique Incense Box is a product of the Barbour Silver Co. (est.1892) of Hartford, (CT). It has an approximate date of production set at or near the year of (1895). The Antique Incense Box is comprised of: thick, heavy, ornate, [Quadruple], Silverplate. The Silverplate is enriched by an: intricate, embossed, floralesque, decor, that's optimized by a beaded trim, and (4) Ball-point, Legs. The Lid is naturally affixed via a strong hinge line to the backside and hook latch to the frontside. This allows for easy ergonomic access and use. The interior of the Incense Box has a compartment that enables for it to hold Liquid Incense, or perhaps a (threaded), Scent Bottle. The Antique Incense Box is styled in accordance to a variety of artistic influences; most notably: Art Nouveau, (Decorative) Victorian, Baroque Revival, and Rococo Revival.
