The Condiment Jar is composed of two-pieces. It's comprised of a: thick, heavy, quality, Piece of (reticulated) Silverplate; as well as a: thick, heavy, quality, Piece of (opalescent) Milk Glass. The Silverplate forms an exoskeleton; which in turn, encapsulates the Milk Glass Jar (Insert). The Condiment Jar is styled in accordance to a variety of artistic influences; namely Victorian. We also see evidence of Baroque Revival, with that of Rococo Revival too. The reticulated pattern allows for one to observe the contrast between the (White) Milk Glass Insert, with that of the Silver, thus creating optimum, opalescent, effects.
