An interesting and most impressive Piece, this Vintage, Silverplate, Tea Caddy will certainly garner the attention of many. A product of the Keystone Silver Co. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Tea Caddy is a shining exemplification of the quality, craftsmanship, often associated with the Art Deco, artistic Era; particularly when pertaining to American Silver production. The Tea Caddy is a visually stimulating Piece that is comprised of a strong, structurally sound, Silverplate. To the exterior of the Tea Caddy, a hammered texture covers a majority of the Piece; including the attached lid, which is affixed by two hinges, thus allowing for the Tea Caddy to remain a singular unit. A floral motif encircles the center of the Tea Caddy, and the motif is accentuated by the reflective properties of the Silver's, smooth, and flat-surfaced, base. A handle is naturally affixed to each side of the Piece, and the interior of the Tea Caddy is separated into two compartments. The condition of the Vintage Piece is noteworthy, fore despite its (85+) years of age, the Tea Caddy has remained an aesthetically pleasing, structurally sound Piece of Vintage American Silverplate.
