Grand tour bronze of a Tanagra Female figure. Found as tomb figures molded in terra cotta, this bronze cast is a late 19th to early 20th-century tribute to their aesthetic. A very fine quality figure of a toga-clad lady with a hand-mirror, busy with her face and toga. A pose understood even today. A very elaborate hairstyle with long curls and posed on a small footrest. The size is 9.75" tall and the base is 3." by 3.75".
