19th-century traveling shrine from Tibet. Low profile for use with a small scroll or a painted panel. Rectangular design with a rectangular window. Decorated with scrolling sides over traditional mountain and water designs. The back closing panel is made of copper with a mantra letter deeply cut into the metal. ( at points cutting through the copper.) The size is 3.75" tall and 2.9" wide. Thickness is .6" Contains a folded woodblock print, Mandala.
The condition is very good. Strong construction and very clean.
