This vintage pincushion is made of satin. The center is red satin material with a pattern depicting a tile roofed building and trees. This circular cushion is encircled by a ring of little Chinese children. The children all have a traditional Chinese braid, or queue. The 8 children are dressed in 4 different colors of satin. They each wear either yellow, gray, pink, or blue-green. Looking at the bottom of the pincushion shows that the gray color was originally blue. It appears to have faded to this attractive silver-gray color. The bottom of the center is pale blue. There is some discoloration on the bottom. But, overall this neat vintage pincushion is in good used condition with little sizes of wear.
