This vintage Rosenthal pitcher features a beautiful portrait on one side and a cluster of flowers on the opposite side. The background is a subtle pale green. The handle, rim and base are decorated in gold. There is also gold highlighting the spout and outlining both the flowers and the lady's portrait. This cream size pitcher is an attractive shape with delicate flowers and leaves, and vertical lines molded into it. The mark on the bottom reads "Rosenthal Selb-Germany Sanssouci" which dates the pitcher to the 1930's or 40's. The pitcher is in good used condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This is a beautiful piece in a useful size to repurpose or to simply display in a cabinet.
