This sweet Precious Moments porcelain figurine is of a young boy who is delightfully surprised when opening his stocking to find a puppy. The figurine is marked "The Greatest Gift is a Friend", Precious Moments, copyright 1987, Samuel J Butcher, All rights reserved worldwide, Licensee Enesco, 109231. The boy is wearing white pajamas with blue polka dots. The puppy emerges from a pink and white striped stocking.

Jonathan & David was the original company name when Enesco bought the rights from Sam Butcher and Bill Biel (Jonathan & David) to produce their greeting card art in three dimensional form. The line later became known as Precious Moments.

This figurine is incised with a treble clef. It is model number 109231. The figurine measures about 4.25" tall, 2.75" across the base and 5" long. It is in excellent condition with no damage. No box available.
