Here’s a beautiful antique Victorian 800 silver bracelet!
Dating to the late 1800's and likely German in origin, this lovely bracelet features a section of links intricately ornamented with a pattern of flowers or stars that's so very pretty. Each end connects to a thick chain ending in a fabulous silver bead with gorgeous surface patterns reminiscent of filigree. The two chains pass through another bead which acts as a slide, enabling the bracelet's diameter to be adjusted.
The bracelet is stamped 800 (for 800 silver) on its reverse, and has a weight of 20.8 grams. It retains its original time-created patina, enhancing its antique beauty. We've seen somewhat similar bracelets referred to as prayer bracelets.
