Here’s a fabulous pair of artisan-created, antique Art Nouveau dangle earrings with cabochon garnets set in 14k yellow gold!
These beautiful earrings feature red garnet cabochons in open-backed settings. The garnets have a total combined carat weight of approximately 3.84 TCW. Surrounding each garnet is an Art Nouveau design of curling whiplashes edged in a border of little dots.
The earrings are each stamped 14K on their reverse and one is signed with a maker's hallmark J.J.M. Acid testing confirms the gold of the earrings is 14k; their hooks test as possibly 15-16k.
We date these earrings c1890-1905, Victorian to early Edwardian eras, and they're wonderful examples of the organic Art Nouveau aesthetic!
As with all our items this will ship in an elegant box, ready for presenting as a gift or keeping safe as a treasured heirloom.
