Here’s a lovely antique garnet solitaire ring set in 14K rose gold!
Dating to around 1900, this beautiful Victorian or early Edwardian ring features a round-cut red garnet held by eight claw prongs in an interesting open-backed basket setting. It sits atop a thin but sturdy rounded rose gold band in excellent condition. With its delicate rounded band it's an unusual and special ring, and could make a sweet alternative engagement ring.
The deep red garnet in this estate ring is in great antique condition with minimal evidence of wear. It measures 7mm in diameter and is approximately 1.31 Ct. The gold is unmarked and acid tests as 14K.
