Here’s a fabulous Brutalist pearl statement ring in a heavy setting of 14K yellow gold!

This unusual ring features a white pearl, cupped and held high on a sturdy stalk above the ring's band. Weighing over 12 grams, this abstract, Modernist gold ring is heavy and substantial and has a heavily textured, naturalistic surface.

The band of this cocktail ring is stamped on its interior with a maker's hallmark GC and a 14K hallmark; acid testing confirms the gold is 14k. The pearl has a slightly baroque, asymmetrical appearance and we're uncertain if the pearl is natural or cultured. We haven't had it professionally tested and are listing it as cultured.

We date this unique unisex ring c1958-1975, and it's an amazing example of Brutalist jewelry!

As with all our rings this will ship in an elegant ring box, ready for presenting as a gift or keeping safe as a treasured heirloom.
