This lovely and unusual cocktail ring features a red garnet cabochon in an ornamental bezel. The garnet is held high in an ornate filigree setting. The surface of the garnet is in pristine condition, and the gemstone is an eye-grabbing pleasure to view.

We believe the style of the ring is Victorian Revival though it may be original to the Victorian or Edwardian periods. The band is signed on its interior with a maker's hallmark and 14KP (for 14k plumb gold, which is guaranteed to be 14k gold or higher) and . Acid testing confirms the gold is 14k. It retains its original time-created patina inside the recesses of the filigree, accentuating the design and enhancing the ring's beauty.
