EAPG "Triple Triangle" Pattern Ruby Stain Goblet - Doyle & Co. - image 1 of 6

Doyle & Company, Pittsburgh, PA was in existence from 1855-1891 and joined the United States Glass Company in 1891. The United States Glass Company rather than being just one entity was a conglomerate formed in 1891 when at least 18 different glass companies were combined under one umbrella. A variety of glass products were created over the years consisting of pressed, blown carnival, etc. By 1951 only the Tiffin, Ohio plant remained, which closed in the 1960's.

This lovely ruby stain and clear EAPG goblet is the "Triple Triangle" pattern created by Doyle & Co., circa 1890-1895. The triangles and separating columns are deeply beveled as is the square knob with diamonds on the stem. The goblet measures 5 3/4" in height, 3" across the top and 2 7/8" across the base. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; the ruby stain is excellent, near mint.
