The Greentown Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Company existed from 1894-1903 when the factory burned. It was absorbed into the National Glass Company from 1899-1907 when forced into bankruptcy.
Chocolate glass, sometimes mistakenly called caramel slag, was made by the Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Company of Greentown, Indiana, from 1900 to 1903. It was also made at other National Glass Company factories. Chocolate glass is pressed glass and ranges in color from a lighter latte color to a darker, espresso.
This lovely chocolate glass tumbler is the "Cactus" pattern. It measures 3" across and 4" in height. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint with wonderful color and shading.
