This is a radical and unique design by the renowned Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala Glass in Finland. He designed it in 1993 especially for the new residence of the Finnish President. This piece bears his full signature and is dated 1993, although Iittala continued to produce it for a few years later. It's scarce and very collectible. This is the smaller version at 19cm high by 17.5cm wide and 15cm deep. It's in excellent condition with no damage. The larger version is listed separately.
