For sale here is a lovely original oil painting on board circa 1930s 40s by American artist John Garner Kemper (1909-1991, Indiana) of a charming country scene featuring cottages, clouds, a pond and two figures in the foreground. A fine American impressionist painting, and in the original period frame! Measures 11" by 9" at outside of the frame. Signed "Kemper" at front as shown, and an original note from a previous owner at back giving the full name etc of the artist as shown in my photos. In excellent vintage condition with no damage or even appreciable wear to the painting, and just fine light wear to the frame as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase.
