For sale here is a HUGE vintage 1980s 90s signed original acrylic on canvas post-modern primitivist pop art tribal oceanic Faces artwork by Lucille. I purchased this painting and another smaller by the same artist at a local estate sale, but unfortunately no information about the artist was available, and I haven't been able to find anything online. No doubt influenced by primitivism and tribal/oceanic art and tattoos, but also with a nod to the post-modern pop art of the East Village NYC art scene! Really huge, this artwork is unframed and measures 48" tall by 28" wide by about 1" deep. A striking image, and entirely painted by hand on canvas! Signed at front near the bottom at right as shown, "Lucille". Other than some spotting to the canvas at back as shown in my photos, this painting is in great vintage condition with just fine light wear at the edges as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.
